Ground Up Rebuild in Norton (day 1)

Here is another shot of the staging.  The rope & pulley are attached to a bucket which is used to get the brick down safely as the chimney is being torn down.   All debris was removed from the work site using an on site dumpster provided by DM Storrs Chimney. Ground Up Rebuild in Norton

This next series of blog posts will be about a ground up rebuild completed in 5 days!  These pictures and posts will show the progression of the project beginning with the tearing down of the chimney to the complete reconstruction, with some fun shots in between.  The picture in this post shows the staging and the beginning of the tear down process.  If you look closely you can see the deterioration of the brick.  The deterioration was extensive throughout the height of the chimney, therefore...
