This is the first picture in a series that will be dedicated to stainless steel commercial stack construction and installation.  This is a building in Somerwille which was sited by the EPA due to the raincaps they had on top of the stacks.  The removal of said raincaps would allow water to pour down into the flues which are venting their ovens among other appliances.  Therefore new stacks needed to be constructed and installed with custom termination pieces and  custom fabricated gutter systems at the base of each stack to allow for water drainage outside of the flues not into them.  This is a photo of the begining of the project, laying out and accounting for all the pieces prior to construction and ultimately installation.  For other interesting projects http://www.dmstorrschimney.com/our-soot-stories/bellfires-fireplace-bbc-assembly-installation-complete
